BAE Hawk Full Body Structural Test

Modal analysis of an aircraft to understand dynamic behaviour. Facility - Laboratory for Verification and Validation (LVV)

Contributed as a graduate research assistant within a team in a comprehensive full-body structural (EMA) test of a BAE Hawk, a British aircraft. The project involved rigorous testing and analysis to characterize experimentally the dynamic behaviour of Hawk aircraft. Responsibilities included testing, data collection, and contributing to the successful completion of the project. The experience provided valuable insights into the practical aspects of structural engineering in the aerospace industry.

Results of this test are available in Multiple-input, multiple-output modal testing of a Hawk T1A aircraft: a new full-scale dataset for structural health monitoring
