Won best presentation (late PhDs category) at the 2026 Engineering Researcher Symposium

Summary

I presented my research, “Learning to Sense in Structural Dynamics,” at the 2026 Engineering Research Symposium hosted by the School of Mechanical, Aerospace and Civil Engineering at the University of Sheffield. My presentation explored how intelligent sensing methods can support structural dynamics applications, including structural health monitoring (SHM), digital twins, and dynamic testing campaigns. I was awarded Best Presentation in the Late PhD category following a poll of the attendees. More information about the event have now been published on the University’s website “Engineering Research Symposium 2026”.
